Career and Technical Education
The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Division in the Center for Teaching and learning provides leadership and technical assistance to local district, regional and state agency staff to support quality CTE including career development, occupational preparation, academic improvement and postsecondary in the five occupational areas:
- Agricultural Education
- Business, Marketing and Computer Education
- Family and Consumer Sciences
- Health Science Technology
- Technology and Engineering Education (Industrial)
Division activities include instructional program improvement, regional CTE Plan and grant approval, performance data analysis and improvement, and interagency cooperation to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of statewide CTE programs and activities.
